The revised compliance code places a heavier emphasis on preventative risk management. As an auditor, your primary responsibility is no longer just identifying faults after the fact, but verifying that the enterprise has robust forecasting models in place. Please review the documentation carefully.
2. The Audit Lifecycle Diagram
Review the standard lifecycle diagram to the right. Notice that the "Reporting" phase has now been split to include a mandatory immediate notification to regulatory bodies if a Class A hazard is identified during the internal sweep.
